GOD'S COMMISION:

It all began in February 2004. Evangelist Lillie Taylor initiated a bible study of a small group of dedicated believers who were intent on learning God’s word. The week following the group’s first meeting, they were joined by Minister Douglas Watkins. On that day, he shared a vision he had received from God in regard to starting a ministry. From that moment forward, the bible study transformed into “Heaven Bound Ministries.”

GOD'S PROVISION:

Recognizing the need for a common place of worship, members searched until renting 4481 Lamb Avenue in Union Point, GA. The property was blessed, and the first service was held on April 11, 2004. Heaven Bound Ministries worshiped in Union Point, while continuing to consult God about purchasing its own property. God led the way for members to discover a sanctuary in Hull, GA. It was a location that Pastor Watkins had previously visited. On November 11, 2005, Heaven Bound Ministries purchased 361 Glenn Carrie Rd in Hull, GA: including a sanctuary and over 7 acres of land. The first service in the new sanctuary was held on Sunday, November 13, 2005.

 

GOD'S SUPERVISION:

Heaven Bound Ministries has fervently worked in the Kingdom of God. We have grown as an individual house of worship under the leadership of Pastor Watkins and Co-Pastor Taylor. In 2009, we furthered our commitment by joining a coalition of churches, known as the Fellowship of Faith, under the leadership of Bishop Bobby Bloodsaw.
