Evangelist Lillie Daniel Taylor

Pastor Lillie D. Taylor is a native Athenian. She was born May 9th to the late Deacon Pim Daniel and Mildred Ward Daniel. She is the middle child of three – Charles and Dennis, both of whom are deceased. Her primary education was received through the Clarke County School District. She also received secondary education at the University of Georgia. She is the proud mother of three children – Channing (deceased), Shannon, and Ashley, and six grandchildren, one of which was raised in the home – Cynetria, and two great-grandchildren.

 

Throughout her career, she was employed in management for various companies, both large and small. For 11+ years, she held the position as Supervisor of Tenant Accounts for Athens Housing Authority. In 2003, she retired from the United States Postal Service.

 

But above all these things, her love for God reigns supreme. She gave her life to Christ in 1974. She has served as Co-Pastor of Heaven Bound Ministries (Hull, GA) since 2004, alongside her son-in-law Senior Pastor Douglas Watkins. Together they maintain the needs of the congregation, demands of the ministry, and the various auxiliaries. She directly oversees the Business Administration, Food Bank Ministry, Trinity Meals, Monday Intercessory Prayer, and the Benevolence Department.
